Juuda 18 - 21
"Mutta te rakkaani, muistakaa nämä sanat, mitkä meidän Herramme (adoneinu) Jeesuksen Kristuksen apostolit ovat edeltäpäin puhuneet sanoen teille: 'Viimeisenä aikana tulee pilkkaajia, jotka vaeltavat jumalattomuutensa himojen mukaan'. Nämä juuri saavat aikaan hajaannusta, he ovat sielullisia, henkeä heillä ei ole. Mutta te, rakkaani, rakentakaa itseänne pyhimmän uskonne perustukselle, rukoilkaa Pyhässä Hengessä ja pysyttäkää niin itsenne Jumalan rakkaudessa, odottaessanne meidän Herramme (adoneinu) Jeesuksen Kristuksen laupeutta iankaikkiseksi elämäksi."
Jude 17 - 21
"But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord (adoneinu) Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockkers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord (adoneinu) Jesus Christ unto eternal life."
