Jeeshua aloitti 30 vuoden ikäisenä julkisen toimintansa. Kolmen ja puolen vuoden ajan Hän kulki ympäri Juudeaa ja Galileaa opettaen kansaa ja tehden kaikkialla hyvää. Hänen ajallinen elämänsä päättyi siis 33, 5 vuoden iässä eli varsin nuorena.
Jeshua began his public career at the age of 30. During three and a half years he went around in Judea and Galilee teaching the people and making good everywhere. His earthly life thus ended at the age of 33,5 years, that is, at a very young age.
Danielille annettu profetia koskee Jeeshuan toiminnan alkua ja loppua (Dan. 9: 23 - 27). Tämän profetian perusteella myös Idän viisaat laskivat Jeeshuan syntymän ajankohdan ja tulivat oikeaan aikaan tervehtimään uutta "juutalaisten kuningasta" (Matt. 2: 1 - 12).
The prophecy given to Daniel concerns the beginning and the end of Jeshua' activity (Dan. 9: 23-27). Based on this prophecy, the sages of the East also calculated the time of Jeshua' birth and came at the right time to greet the new "king of the Jews" (Matt. 2: 1-12).
Mutta miksi Jeeshua toimi tehtävässään vain 3,5 vuotta... ja miksi juuri 3,5 vuotta? Tätä olen useasti ihmetellyt. Onko 3,5 vuodella joku vastaavuus jossakin?
But why was Jeshua working only 3,5 years... and why just 3,5 years? This I have often wondered. Does 3,5 years have any equivalence somewhere?
Ilmestyskirjan 11: 2:ssa kerrotaan, miten pakanakansat tallaavat pyhää kaupunkia 42 kuukauden ajan, ja seuraavassa jakeessa, 11: 3, kerrotaan kahdesta säkkeihin pukeutuneesta todistajasta, jotka saavat tehtäväkseen profetoida 1260 päivän ajan. Sekä 42 kuukautta että 1260 päivää vastaavat 3,5 vuotta, joka ilmaistaan Raamatussa myös sanoilla "aika, kaksi aikaa ja puoli aikaa". (Dan. 7: 25; 12: 7; Ilm. 12: 14). Mutta miksi juuri tuo aika?
Revelation 11: 2 tells how the Gentiles trampled on the holy city for 42 months, and the next verse, 11: 3, tells of two sackcloth-witnesses who are commissioned to prophesy for 1260 days. Both 42 months and 1260 days correspond to 3,5 years, which is also expressed in the Bible as "time, two and a half times." (Dan. 7:25; 12: 7; Rev. 12:14). But why just that time?

When I looked at a chart from the week of creation I once drew, I noticed in it a period of 3, 5 nights and days.
Luomisviikon 7 päivää/vuorokautta näyttää jakautuvan kahteen 3,5 päivän/vuorokauden jaksoon, kun viikko jaetaan valkeuden ja auringon suhteen kahteen osaan. Valkeus luotiin 1. päivänä, ja aurinko 4. päivänä. Ensimmäinen 3,5 vuorokauden aika sisältää neljä pimeää jaksoa/yötä ja kolme valoisaa jaksoa/päivää, ja toinen 3,5 vuorokauden aika puolestaan neljä valoisaa jaksoa/päivää ja kolme pimeää jaksoa/yötä.
The 7 days of the week of creation seem to be divided into two periods of 3,5 days, with the week divided into two parts in terms of light and sun. The light was created on the first day, and the sun on day 4th day. The first 3,5-day period includes four 4 nights and 3 light days, and the second 3,5-day period, in turn, includes 4 days and 3 nights.
Aadamilla ja Eevalla ei ollut Raamattua, mutta he saivat keskustella kasvoista kasvoihin itse Luojansa kanssa. Syntiinlankeemuksen jälkeen he joutuivat hahmottamaan hyvän ja pahan välistä taistelua oman elämänsä ja ympäröivän maailman tapahtumista.
Adam and Eve did not have any Bible, but they were allowed to talk face to face with their Creator himself. After the Fall, they had to perceive the struggle between good and evil from the events of their own lives and the world around them.
Pimeys edustaa Raamatussa Saatanaa ja pahuuden voimia, ja valkeus sen vastakohtana itse maailman Vapahtajaa (Joh. 1: 5, 9, 10). Valkeus ei ole sama kuin aurinko, eikä Jumalaa ja Hänen Lähettilästään, Jeeshuaa, voida rinnastaa aurinkoon, sillä he edustavat VALKEUTTA.
In the Bible, darkness represents Satan and the forces of evil, and light, in contrast, represents the Savior of the world itself (John 1: 5, 9, 10). Light is not the same as the sun, and God and His Messenger, Jeshua, cannot be equated with the sun, for they represent LIGHT.
Raamatullinen tapa määrittää vuorokausi on toisenlainen, kuin mihin me olemme tottuneet, sillä ensin tuli ehtoo ja pimeää ja sitten aamu ja valoisaa. Valkeus, jonka Jumala kutsui ensimmäisenä luomispäivänä esiin (1. Moos. 1: 3) katkaisi pimeyden, josta ensimmäinen vuorokausi oli alkanut. Mahtoivatko esivanhempamme ymmärtää siitä jumalallisen pelastussuunnitelman, eli sen että Valkeus tulee Pimeyden keskelle!
The biblical way of determining the day is different from what we are used to, for first came the evening and dark and then the morning and light. The light that God called forth on the first day of creation (Gen. 1: 3) broke the darkness from which the first day had begun. Could our ancestors understand the divine plan of salvation from that, that is, that the Light will come in the midst of Darkness!
Aurinko näyttelee merkittävää roolia kaikissa pakanauskonnoissa, koska aurinko on varsinainen palvonnan kohde... jumala. Mutta myös kristillisyydessä aurinkoa käytetään Jumalan symbolina, ja koko kristikunta pyhittää auringon päivää, sunnuntaita.
The sun plays a significant role in all pagan religions because the sun is the actual object of worship ... god. But even in Christianity, the sun is used as a symbol of God, and all of Christianity sanctifies the day of the sun, Sunday.
Katsellessani tuota kaaviotani, ihmettelen ja kyselen, miksi aurinko luotiin juuri neljäntenä päivänä ja symboloivatko nuo luomisviikon kaksi 3,5 vuorokauden aikajaksoa jollakin tavalla Luciferin kapinaan taivaassa (Ilm. 12: 7 - 9) ja/tai hänen toimiinsa maan päällä ihmiskunnan suurena eksyttäjänä? Jos niin on, alan ymmärtää, miksi Jeeshuan toimikausi kesti 3,5 vuotta.
Looking at that chart, I wonder and ask why the sun was created on the fourth day and do those two 3,5-day periods of the week of creation symbolise somehow Lucifer's rebellion in heaven (Rev. 12: 7-9) and/or his actions on earth as a great deceiver of mankind? If so, I begin to understand why Jeshua was working 3,5 years.
