Jokaisella heprean 22 konsonantilla on myös kuvallinen merkitys, ja se näkyy parhaiten varhaisimmissa seemiläisissä aakkosissa. Jeeshuan nimi, ישוע, kirjoitetaan neljällä konsonantilla, jotka ovat Jod, Shin, Vau ja Ajin. 

Each of the 22 consonants in Hebrew also has a pictorial meaning, best seen in the earliest Semitic alphabets. Yeshua's name, ישוע, is written with four consonants, which are Yod, Shin, Waw and Ayin.

Jodin merkitys on käsi; varhaisin seemiläinen aakkonen on kokonainen käsivarsi. Shin on hammas; sen varhaisin muoto edustaa hampaan kruunua. Vau on naula/koukku; merkitys on pysynyt samana kaikissa kirjoitustyypeissä. Ajin merkitsee silmää/silmiä; merkitys näkyy selvästi, vaikka kirjainten malli on muuttunut aikojen saatossa. Käsi antaa, hammas puree, naula lävistää ja silmä katsoo.

The meaning of Yod is hand; the earliest Semitic alphabet is a whole arm. Shin is a tooth; its earliest form represents the crown of a tooth. Waw is a nail/hook; the meaning has remained the same in all types of writing. Ayin means eye/eyes; the meaning is clearly visible, even though the pattern of the letters has changed over time. The hand gives, the tooth bites, the nail pierces and the eye looks.

Based on the keywords given by the consonants of Yeshua's name, I have collected texts from different parts of the Bible for this article. It is downright amazing to say that these four Hebrew letters contain the entire mission of Yeshua to save mankind.

Tämä opetuslapsi oli ylimmäisen papin tuttava ja meni Jeesuksen kanssa sisälle ylimmäisen papin kartanoon. Mutta Pietari seisoi portilla ulkona. Niin se toinen opetuslapsi joka oli ylimmäisen papin tuttava, meni ulos ja puhutteli portinvartijatarta ja toi Pietarin sisälle. Niin palvelijatar, joka vartioi porttia, sanoi Pietarille: ’Etkö sinäkin ole tuon miehen opetuslapsia?’ Hän sanoi: ’En ole’. Mutta palvelijatar ja käskyläiset olivat tehneet hiilivalkean, koska oli kylmä, ja seisoivat ja lämmittelivät. Ja myös Pietari seisoi heidän kanssaan lämmittelemässä"... Matt. 26: 67, 68 -  Jeeshuaa lyödään ja syljetään: ”Silloin he sylkivät häntä silmille ja löivät nyrkillä kasvoihin; ja toiset sivalsivat häntä poskelle ja sanoivat: ’Profetoi meille Kristus, kuka se on, joka sinua löi’.”

Jes. 50: 6 -  Jesajan ennustus edellä luetusta:  ”Selkäni minä annoin lyötäväksi, poskieni parran revittäväksi, en peittänyt kasvojani pilkalta ja syljeltä.”

Matt. 27: 11 - 26; Mark. 23: 1 - 5 Joh. 18: 29 - 38 -  Jeeshua Pilatuksen edessä: ”Niin Pilatus meni ulos heidän luokseen ja sanoi: ’Mikä syytös ja kanne teillä on tätä miestä vastaan?’ He vastasivat ja sanoivat hänelle: ’Jos tämä ei olisi pahantekijä, emme olisi antaneet häntä sinun käsiisi.’ Niin Pilatus sanoi heille: ’Ottakaa te hänet ja tuomitkaa hänet lakinne mukaan’. Juutalaiset sanoivat hänelle: ’Meidän ei ole lupa ketään tappaa’; että Jeesuksen sana kävisi toteen, jonka hän oli sanonut, antaen tietää, minkäkaltaisella kuolemalla hän oli kuoleva. Ja sotamiehet väänsivät kruunun orjantappuroista, panivat sen hänenpäähänsä ja pukivat hänen ylleen purppuraisen vaipan ja tulivat hänen luoksensa ja sanoivat: 'Terve, juutalaisten kuningas’; ja he antoivat hänelle korvapuusteja.”

Joh. 19: 14 - 16 -  Jumalan valitsema kansa hylkää Jeeshuan: ”Ja oli pääsiäisen valmistuspäivä, noin kuudes hetki. Ja hän sanoi juutalaisille: ’Katso, teidän kuninkaanne!’ Niin he huusivat: ’Vie pois, vie pois, ristiinnaulitse hänet!’ Pilatus sanoi heille: ’Onko minun ristiinnaulittava teidän kuninkaanne?’ Ylipapit vastasivat: ’Ei meillä ole kuningasta, vaan keisari.’ Silloin hän luovutti hänet heille ja antoi ristiinaulittavaksi.”

Sak. 13: 6 - ennustus Jeeshuan haavoista: ”Ja jos häneltä kysytään: 'Mitä ovat nuo haavat sinun rinnassasi?’ vastaa hän: ’Ne lyötiin minun ystäväini huoneessa.’

Gen. 3: 15  - the first Messiah prophecy:  ”And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

Ps. 41: 9  - prophecy about Judas Iscariot:  ”Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”

Isa. 53: 3 - 8  - bitten, beaten, torn and raped Messiah:  ”He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself... They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not. Matthew 26: 67, 68 - Yeshua is beaten and spit on:  ”Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands. Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?”

Isa. 50: 6 - Isaiah's prophecy from what was read above: ”I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”

Matthew 27: 11-26; Mark 23: 1 - 5 John 18: 29 - 38 - Jesus before Pilate:  ”Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him. It is not lawful for us to put any man to death. That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe. And said , Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.”

John 19: 14 - 16 - God's chosen people reject Yeshua:  ”And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.”

Zech. 13: 6 - prophecy of Yeshua's wounds  ”And one shall say unto him. What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”

Zech. 3: 8, 9 - Yeshua's wounds are prophesied inscriptions:  ”Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.”

John 20: 27 - Yeshua shows Thomas his hands and chest:  ”Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.”

And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. Luuk. 2: 15 - Paimenet riensivät katsomaan vastasyntynyttä Ihmisen Poikaa: ”Ja kun enkelit olivat menneet paimenten luota taivaaseen, niin nämä puhuivat toisillensa: ’ Menkäämme mekin Beetlehemiin katsomaan sitä, mikä on tapahtunut ja minkä Herra meille ilmoitti."

Sak. 12: 10 - Ainoa katsomisen kohde: ”Ja minä vuodatan Daavidin suvun päälle ja Jerusalemin asukasten päälle armon ja rukouksen hengen. He katsovat minuun, jonka he ovat lävistäneet. Ja he valittavat häntä, niinkuin valitetaan ainokaista, murehtivat häntä katkerasti, niinkuin murehditaan katkerasti esikoista.”

Ps. 34: 6 - Jeeshuaan katsominen tuo iloa: ”Jotka häneen katsovat, ne säteilevät iloa, heidän kasvonsa eivät häpeästä punastu.”

Joh. 19: 5 - Suurin IHMINEN: ”Niin Jeesus tuli ulos orjantappurakruunu päässään ja  purppurainen vaippa yllään. Ja Pilatus sanoi heille: ’Katso ihmistä.’

Joh. 20: 27 - Katso, Tuomas: ”Sitten hän sanoi Tuomaalle: ’Ojenna sormesi tänne ja katso minun käsiäni, ja ojenna kätesi ja pistä se minun kylkeeni, äläkä ole epäuskoinen, vaan uskovainen.”

Ap.t. 1: 11 - Tämän saatte nähdä uudelleen: ”... Galilean miehet, mitä te seisotte ja katsotte taivaalle? Tämä Jeesus, joka otettiin teiltä ylös taivaaseen, on tuleva samalla tavalla, kuin te näitte hänen taivaaseen menevän."

Hepr. 12: 1, 2 - Kiinnitä katseesi uskon alkajaan ja täyttäjään:  ”Sentähden, kun meillä on näin suuri pilvi todistajia ympärillämme, pankaamme mekin pois kaikki, mikä meitä painaa, ja synti, joka niin helposti meidät kietoo, ja juoskaamme kestävinä edessämme olevassa kilvoituksessa, silmät luotuina uskon alkajaan ja täyttäjään, Jeesukseen, joka hänelle olevan ilon sijasta kärsi ristin, häpeästä välittämättäm ja istui Jumalan valtaistuimen oikealle puolelle.”

1. Piet. 3: 12 - Tarkkaavat Jumalan silmät: ”Sillä Herran silmät tarkkaavat vanhurskaita ja hänen korvansa heidän rukouksiansa, mutta Herran kasvot ovat pahantekijöitä vastaan.”

Ilm. 1: 7 - Jokainen tulee näkemään Hänet: ”Katso, hän tulee pilvissä, ja kaikki silmät saavat nähdä hänet, niidenkin, jotka hänet lävistivät, ja kaikki maan sukukunnat vaikeroitsevat hänen tullessansa. Totisesti, amen.”

Ilm. 1: 12 - 15 - Jeeshuan silmät: ”Ja minä käännyn katsomaan, mikä ääni minulle puhui; ja kääntyessäni minä näin seitsemän kultaista lampunjalkaa, ja lampunjalkain keskellä Ihmisen Pojan muotoisen, pitkäliepeiseen viittaan puetun ja rinnan kohdalta kultaisella vyöllä vyötetyn. Ja hänen päänsä ja hiuksensa olivat valkoiset niinkuin valkoinen villa, niinkuin lumi, ja hänen silmänsä olivat niinkuin tulen liekki, ja hänen jalkansa olivat ahjossa hehkuvan, kiiltävän vasken kaltaiset, ja hänen äänensä oli niinkuin paljojen vetten pauhina.”

Ilm. 19: 11 - 16 -  Katso, Kuningasten KUNINGAS tulee: ”Ja minä näin taivaan auenneena. Ja katso: valkoinen hevonen, ja sen selässä istuvan nimi on Uskollinen ja Totinen, ja hän tuomitsee ja sotii vanhurskaudessa. Luke 2: 15 - The shepherds rushed to see the newborn Son of Man:  ”And it came to pass, as the angels were gone from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.”

Zech. 12:10 - The only thing to watch:  ”And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”

Ps. 34: 5 - Looking at Yeshua brings joy:  ”They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”

John 19:5 - The greatest MAN:  ”Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!”

John 20: 27 - Look, Thomas:  ”Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.”

Acts 1:11 - This is what you will see again:  ”... Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

Hebrews 12: 1, 2 - Fix your eyes on the originator and finisher of faith:  ”Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

1. Peter 3: 12 - Observing eyes of God:  ”For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”

Rev. 1: 7 - Everyone will see Him:  ”Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

Rev. 1: 12 - 15 - The eyes of Yeshua:  ”And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire. And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.”

Rev. 19: 11 - 16 - Behold, the KING of Kings is coming:  ”And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite tha nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

Lunastaakseen syntiinlangenneen ihmiskunnan Jumalan Pojan tie kulki Isän käsien kautta juutalaisten ylipappien ja fariseusten käsiin ja siitä kuolemaan. Hänen inhimillinen elämänsä oli alituista kärsimystä ja vaivaa Saatanan yllyttäessä kaikki pahuuden voimat taisteluun Häntä vastaan. Ristille ripustettu Jeeshua oli todellisuudessa ainoa oikea ”Juutalaisten Kuningas”, kuningas Daavidin poika, mutta Hän ei kelvannut heille. Suureksi onneksi Jeeshua oli Isänsä silmäterä, ja Kaikkivaltiaan Jumalan kaikkivoipa voima ylläpiti taukoamatta Hänen rakasta Poikaansa. Yhdessä Isän kanssa Jeeshua mursi Kuoleman vallan. Koko universumin kaikkien luotujen olentojen huomio keskittyi Golgatalle, ja jo siellä he saivat nähdä Voittajan. Juuri alentumisensa kautta Jeeshua ylennettiin Isän oikealle puolelle ja Hänelle annettiin universumin korkein nimi. Jeeshuan palavien silmiensä edessä koko ihmiskunta tulee saamaan tuomionsa, kun Hän ilmestyy valkoisella hevosella ratsastaen.

In order to redeem fallen humanity, the way of the Son of God went through the hands of the Father to the hands of the Jewish high priests and Pharisees and from there to death. His human life was one of constant suffering and trouble as Satan incited all the forces of evil to fight against Him. Yeshua hung on the cross was actually the only true "King of the Jews", the son of King David, but He was not good for them. Fortunately, Yeshua was the apple of His Father's eye, and the almighty power of the Almighty God continuously sustained His beloved Son. Together with the Father, Yeshua broke the power of Death. The attention of all created beings in the entire universe was focused on Calvary, and already there they could see the Victor. It was through His humiliation that Yeshua was exalted to the right hand of the Father and He was given the highest name in the universe. Before Yeshua's burning eyes, all mankind will receive their judgment when He appears riding a white horse.
