Yeshua repeatedly assured his listeners that He had been 'sent', that He was sent by God. There are at least 35 texts in the Gospels where Yeshua sheds light on his mission as God's messenger: Matthew 15: 24; Luke 4: 18, 43; John 3: 17, 34; 5: 24, 30, 33, 36, 37, 38; 8 : 29, 38, 44, 57; 7: 16, 29, 33; 8: 16, 18, 26, 29, 42; 9: 4; 10: 36; 11: 42; 12: 44, 45, 49; 14 : 24; 15: 21; 16: 5: 17: 3, 8, 18, 23.
Yeshua refers to God four times as 'the sender'. The word in question appears in the New Testament only in the words of Yeshua, and John (who was also a man sent by God, John 1: 6) has written down all four texts (John 4: 34; 6: 39; 7: 28; 13: 16 ). In the Greek text, the corresponding word is πεμψαστος pempsantos and πεμψας pempsas from the verb πεμβω pempoo to send. In Hebrew there is the word שלחי sholechi and שלחני shelachani from the verb שלח shalach to send.
Jeshuan ’ruoka’ (Joh. 4: 34) eli inhimillisen elämän tarkoitus oli täyttää Lähettäjänsä tahto (Joh. 6: 39), ettei Jeshua kadota yhtäkään niistä, jotka Jumala oli Hänelle antanut vaan, että Hän herättää heidät kaikki viimeisenä päivänä. Lähettäjä itse on totuus ja ainoa oikea Lähettäjä (Joh. 7: 28), ja Hän on Lähettilästään suurempi (Joh. 13: 16).
Yeshua's ’food’(John 4: 34), or the purpose of His human life, was to fulfill the will of His Sender (John 6: 39), that Yeshua not lose any of those whom God had given Him, but that He would raise them all on the last day. The Sender himself is the truth and the only true Sender (John 7: 28), and He is greater than his Messenger (John 13: 16).
Israelin kansa sai Jeshuassa siis arvokkaan lähetyksen/viestin, eikä Lähettäjä ollut kuka tahansa, sillä Hän on korkein kaikista niin maan päällä kuin myös taivaassa. So the people of Israel received a valuable message in Yeshua, and the Sender was not just anyone, because He is the highest of all, both on earth and in heaven. Shouldn't the recipient, the nation of Israel, have been excited and grateful for the privilege and message that contained the greatest heavenly blessing!

Unfortunately, however, it appears that the people of Israel did not appreciate the privilege and heavenly blessing they had received; they did not understand Yeshua's mission, and they did not even know His Messenger.

The word 'sender' certainly sounds a bit distant. But Yeshua did his best and did tell the people of Israel countless times who His Messenger is. The way Yeshua introduced his Messenger to the Jews is the most beautiful and sensitive speech. Here are a few examples from the Gospel of Matthew:

Voitaisiinko Kaikkeuden Jumala esitellä henkilökohtaisemmin, kuin mitä Jeshua teki puhuessaan Lähettäjästään Israelin kansalle? Jeshua vakuutti heille toistuvasti, että Hänen Lähettäjänsä on Israelin Isä.
Could the Almighty God be presented more personally than Yeshua did when he spoke about his Messenger to the people of Israel? Yeshua repeatedly assured them that his Messenger is the Father of Israel.
Kuitenkin kaikkein useimmin Hän käytti muotoa ”minun Isäni”. Kysymyksessä ei luonnollisestikaan ole kaksi eri Isää, vaan puhuessaan Jumalasta omana Isänään Jeshua halusi korostaa yhteisen Isän osoittamaa rakkautta sekä Häntä itseään että heitä kohtaan. Jos juutalaiset olisivat tunteneet Jumalan omana Isänään, he olisivat tunnistaneet myös Jeshuan Hänen Pojakseen (Joh. 5: 23).
However, most often He used the form "my Father". Naturally, the question is not about two different Fathers, but when speaking of God as his own Father, Yeshua wanted to emphasise the love shown by the common Father both to Him and to them. If the Jews had known God as their own Father, they would have also recognized Yeshua as His Son (John 5: 23).

Vanhan Testamentin puolella Jumalasta puhutaan Isänä vain muutamissa teksteissä. Mutta kuitenkin jo Mooses tunsi Jumalan Isänä. Mooses kirjoitti virressään (5. Moos. 32: 6):’eikö hän ole sinun isäsi, joka sinut loi? Hän sinut teki ja valmisti’. Jumala on kaikkien ISÄ luomisen perusteella.
In the Old Testament, God is spoken of as Father in only a few texts. But still Moses already knew God as Father. Moses wrote in his stream (Deuteronomy 32: 6): ’Hath he not made thee, and established thee?’. God is the FATHER of all by creation.
Kuningas Daavid on kirjoittanut psalmeissaan Jumalasta ’orpojen isänä’ (Ps. 68: 6) ja lapsiaan armahtavana isänä (Ps. 103: 13).
In his psalms, King David wrote about God as the 'father of the fatherless' (Ps. 68: 5) and as a father who shows mercy to his children (Ps. 103: 13).
Jeshua, Jumalan Poika, tuli ilmoittamaan ihmiskunnalle Jumalan (Joh. 1: 18). Hän tuli maailmaan ISÄN HELMASTA (Joh. 1: 18), ja Hänen tehtävänsä oli kirkastaa Kaikkivaltias Jumala kaikkien ISÄNÄ.
Yeshua, the Son of God, came to reveal God to humanity (John 1: 18). He came into the world FROM THE FATHER'S BOSOM (John 1: 18), and His mission was to glorify Almighty God as the FATHER of all.
Profeetta Jesaja antoi ennustamalleen Poikalapselle nimen ”IANKAIKKINEN ISÄ” (Jes. 6: 5). Koska Jeshuan inhimillisen elämän tarkoitus oli toteuttaa ISÄN tahto, Hän toimi kaikessa kuin ”IANKAIKKINEN ISÄ”.
The prophet Isaiah gave the name "ETERNAL FATHER" to the Baby Boy he predicted (Isa. 6: 5). Since the purpose of Yeshua's human life was to fulfill the will of the FATHER, He acted in everything as the "ETERNAL FATHER”.
Jeshuan nimi on ikiajoista אבינו גאלנו aviinu goaleenu, ISÄMME SUKULUNASTAJAMME (Jes. 63: 16). Tämä on kauneinta ja suloisinta evankeliumia!
Yeshua's name is from ancient times אבינו גאלנו aviinu goaleenu, OUR FATHER OUR KIN REDEEMER (Isa. 63: 16). This is the most beautiful and sweetest gospel!
