Olen yli 20 vuotta kirjoittanut ja puhunut Jumalan mahtavasta nimestä אהיה Ehjee eli '(Minä) Olen’. Jumalan Lähettiläs, joka on kaikkina aikoina ollut Hänen Poikansa (Joh. 1: 18), ilmoitti Moosekselle palavan pensaan luona tuon pyhän nimen. Tuossa Isänsä suuressa ja ikuisessa nimessä Jeshua tuli myös lunastamaan ihmiskunnan (Joh. 5: 43). Isä herätti Poikansa kuolleista juuri tuossa voittoisassa nimessään.
For more than 20 years I have written and spoken about God's mighty name אהיה Ehjee, or '(I) Am'. The Messenger of God, who has always been His Son (John 1: 18), announced that holy name to Moses at the burning bush. In that great and eternal name of his Father, Yeshua also came to redeem humanity (John 5: 43). The Father raised His Son from the dead in that very victorious name.
Kuluneiden vuosien aikana olen kokenut monia yrityksiä torjua tuo nimi ja kuullut lukuisia vastaväitteitä tuota nimeä vastaan. Eivätkö ihmiset halua ymmärtää vai eivätkö he todella ymmärrä, mitä Jumalan oikea nimi merkitsee?!
Over the years, I have experienced many attempts to reject that name and heard numerous objections to that name. Do people not want to understand or do they really not understand what God's right name means?!
Ihmisten reaktio MinäOlen-nimen kohdalla on yleisesti vastakysymys 'niin mikä’. He tarkoittavat kysymyksellään, että Jumalan ilmoitus omasta nimestään on jotenkin vajaa, että sen pitäisi jatkua jonkinlaisella määritelmällä, mikä/kuka Hän sanoo olevansa.
People's reaction to the name I AM is generally the counter question 'so what'. They mean by their question that God's revelation of own name is somehow lacking, that it should continue with some kind of definition of what/who He says He is.
Mutta Jumala nimenomaan antoi täydellisen määritelmän sanoessaan Moosekselle אהיה אשר אהיה ehjee asher ehjee eli 'minä olen joka minä olen’... ihan sanatarkasti ’Olen joka olen’. Jumalan oleminen on ikuista, koska Jumala ei kuole, eikä Hän, joka on kaiken Alku, voi eikä saa kuolla!
But God specifically gave the perfect definition when he said to Moses אהיה אשר אהיה ehjee asher ehjee, or 'I am that I am’. God's existence is eternal because God does not die, and He who is the Beginning of all things cannot and must not die!
Ihmisten toinen varsin yleisesti toistuva vastareaktio on lause ’niin minäkin olen’ tai ’mä oon mikä oon’. Molemmat vastaukset vetävät Kaikkivaltiaan Jumalan ihmisen tasolle ja jopa alentavat Hänet ihmistä alemmaksi. ’Niin minäkin olen’ -vastaus tarkoittaa että, eipä tuossa Jumalan nimessä mitään ihmeellistä ole, kun minä pystyn ihan samaan. ’Mä oon mikä oon’-vastaus puolestaan puolustelee mitä tahansa ihmisen olemista/elämistä (kurjaa, kelvotonta) Jumalan olemisen/elämän vertaiseksi.
Another quite commonly repeated reaction of people is the phrase 'so am I' or 'I am what I am'. Both answers bring Almighty God down to the level of man and even lower Him below man. The answer 'So am I' means that, in the name of God, there is nothing miraculous when I can do the same thing. The 'I am what I am' answer, on the other hand, defends any human existence/life (wretched, unworthy) as equal to God's existence/life.
Mutta kaikki vastaväittäjät ymmärtävät kuitenkin alitajuisesti tai ainakin elämän tiettynä hetkenä oman olemisensa vajavaisuuden. Kun kuka tahansa ihminen kuolee, hänestä aletaan puhua menneessä aikamuodossa ’hän oli’. Ihminen ei ole ikuisesti oleva! Ihminen kuolee!
But all the naysayers understand subconsciously, or at least at a certain moment in life, the inadequacy of their own being. When any person dies, they start talking about him in the past tense 'he was'. Man will not exist forever! Man dies!
Kuoleman kohdatessa kannattaa miettiä Jumalan ihmeellistä nimeä, sillä se tuo surun hetkellä suurta lohtua. Jumalan olemisesta ei voi puhua menneessä aikamuodossa tarkoittaen, että Hänen elämänsä loppui. Isä-Jumalan oleminen on ikuista. Hänen pyhän nimensä syvällinen merkitys selviää meille kuoleman kosketuksessa. Ihminen on kuolevainen, ja inhimillinen elämä kestää vain hetken. Ihmisen olemista ei voi verrata Jumalan olemiseen. Isä-Jumala on Olemisen Valtias!
When facing death, it is worth thinking about God's wonderful name, because it brings great comfort in the moment of sadness. God's existence can't be spoken of in the past tense meaning that His life ended. The being of God the Father is eternal. The profound meaning of His holy name becomes clear to us at the touch of death. Man is mortal, and human life lasts but a moment. Being human cannot be compared to being God. Father God is the Sovereign of Being!
Jeshuan kuoltua Hänestä voitiin sanoa ’Hän oli’, mutta tänään me puhumme Hänestä ’Hän on’ ja kaiken lisäksi ’Hän on tuleva’ toisen kerran (vrt. Ilm. 1: 4). Isän voimallinen nimi takasi sen, että Jeshua on Kuoleman Voittaja!
After Yeshua's death, it was possible to say of Him 'He was', but today we speak of Him as 'He is' and, moreover, 'He is to come' for the second time (cf. Rev. 1: 4). The powerful name of the Father guaranteed that Yeshua is the Conqueror of Death!
