Hyvä Taivaan Isä varjelkoon, ettemme olisi sokeita lukiessamme ja tutkiessamme Hänen meille antamia opastuksen sanoja. Vielä kauheampaa kuin olla hengellisesti sokea on sokeana taluttaa toisia sokeita. Tarkistakaamme siis, mitä Sanassa opetetaan, mihin uskomme, mitä opetamme, ja mitä tietoa levitämme!

Dear Heavenly Father, keep us from being blind as we read and study the words of guidance He has given us. Even more terrible than being spiritually blind is being blind and leading other blind people. So let's check what the Word teaches, what we believe, what we teach, and what information we spread!

Kuluneella viikolla silmiini osui netissä aivan huuhaa-opetusta koskien lukua 888, joka liittyy Jeeshuan kreikankieliseen nimeen Ιησοθς.

In the past week, I came across an absolutely ridiculous teaching on the internet regarding the number 888, which is related to Jeshua's Greek name Ιησοθς.

Raamatussa luvuilla on ihan oma merkityksensä, joka selviää usein tekstin lähemmässä tarkastelussa. Luku seitsemän toistuu tavattoman usein, mutta luku kahdeksan esiintyy Raamatun teksteissä ainoastaan kehoituksessa jakaa leipää ”seitsemälle ja kahdeksalle" (Saarn. 11: 2), ja kerrottaessa ympärileikkauksesta (1. Moos. 17: 12; Luuk. 2: 21, 59) sekä kuvattaessa ”helakanpunaista petoa” (Ilm. 17: 3 - 11). 

In the Bible, the numbers have their own meaning, which often becomes clear in a closer examination of the text. Number seven is repeated extremely often, but number eight appears in the texts of the Bible only in the exhortation to distribute bread to "seven and eight" (Ecclesiastes 11: 2), and when telling about circumcision (Genesis 17: 12; Luke 2: 21, 59) and when describing the "scarlet beast" (Rev. 17: 3 - 11).

❓ Raamatun lukujen parissa elämäntyönsä tehneen venäläissyntyisen Ivan Paninin kerrotaan sanoneen,  että "luku kahdeksan kuvaa ylösnousemusta, uutta elämää, uutta alkua ja järjestystä”. Hänen tulkintaansa ei kuitenkaan perustella sen kummemmin. Kahdeksan arkissa pelastunutta ihmistä saivat kuitenkin elämäänsä uuden alun.

The Russian-born Ivan Panin, who made his life's work with the numbers of the Bible, is claimed to have said that "chapter eight describes resurrection, new life, new beginnings and order". However, his interpretation is not justified in any way. However, the eight people saved in the ark got a new start in their lives.

On totta, että Jeeshuan ylösnousemus merkitsee uutta elämää, uutta alkua ja uutta järjestystä, mutta miten se liittyy lukuun kahdeksan. 

It is true that Jeshua's resurrection means new life, a new beginning and a new order, but how does it relate to chapter eight.

Viikossa on seitsemän päivää, ja Jeeshua ylösnousi ani varhain viikon ensimmäisenä päivänä. Mutta jotkut neropatit ovat keksineet nimittää sitä kahdeksanneksi päiväksi.

There are seven days in a week, and Jesus rose early on the first day of the week. But some geniuses have come up with calling it the eighth day.

Käännöstulokset❓ Viikossa on seitsemän päivää, mutta jotkut neropatit sanovat Jeeshuan nousseen ylös 8. päivänä. Mihin tällainen ajatus perustuu? Sitä minä en ymmärrä!

❓ Panin näkee luvussa 8 alun (1) ja täydellisyyden (7), sekä liiton (2) ja ihmisen (6), joiden summat ovat kahdeksan. Kaikki oli alussa/luomisessa täydellistä ja ”sangen hyvää” (1. Moos. 1: 31), mutta viikonpäiviä oli silloinkin vain seitsemän. Ja jos ihminen (6) tekee liiton (2), siihen tarvitaan toinenkin osapuoli (?), ja kokonaisluku on silloin enemmän kuin kahdeksan.

Panin sees in number 8 the beginning (1) and perfection (7), as well as union (2) and man (6), which add up to eight. In the beginning/creation everything was perfect and "very good" (Gen. 1: 31), but even then there were only seven days in one week. And if a person (6) makes a covenant (2), another party is needed (?), and the total number is then more than eight.

❓ Kaikkia sellaisia kolminumeroisia lukuja, joissa kaikki numerot ovat samoja (111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999), pidetään erityisen merkityksellisinä, ikään kuin niissä toistuva numero saisi kaksi todistajaa. Kaikki kyseiset luvut ovat siitä erikoisia, että ne muodostuvat, kun 37 kerrotaan kolmosen kerrannaisilla (3x37 = 111, 6x37 = 222, 3x37 = 333, 4x37 = 444 jne.)

All such three-digit numbers where all the numbers are the same (111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999) are considered particularly significant, as if the repeating number in them would have two witnesses. All those numbers are special in that they are formed by multiplying 37 by multiples of three (3x37 = 111, 6x37 = 222, 3x37 = 333, 4x37 = 444, etc.)

❓ Jälleen ilman selkeitä perusteluita väitetään, että "luku 37 on Jumalan sanan luku tarkoittaen Jeesusta, joka on elävä Sana.” Kuitenkin jätetään kertomatta oleellisin asia; mistä Jeeshuaa tarkoittavasta nimestä tuollainen lukuarvo lasketaan. Onko nimi kreikkaa, hepreaa vai latinaa? Vai päädytäänkö tällaiseen väittämään vain siksi, että 8 ja 37 ovat tekijöinä noissa monissa Jeeshuaa tarkoittavissa nimissä? Jo menee Raamatun tutkiminen kieroksi! Ja mikä Jeeshuan nimi voisi liittyä lukuun 666? Vicarius Filii Deis’sä "Jumalan Poijan” kirjaimet muodostavat luvun 554 eikä 37.

Again, without clear reasoning, it is claimed that ”37 is a number of God's word, referring to Jesus, who is the living Word." However, the most important thing is left unsaid; from which name referring to Jeshua is such a numerical value calculated. Is the name Greek, Hebrew or Latin? Or do we end up with such an assertion only because 8 and 37 are factors in many of those names referring to Jeshua? The study of the Bible is already going crooked! And what name of Jeshua could join the number 666? In Vicarius Filii Dei, the letters of "Son of God" form the number 554 not 37.

‼️ En pidä lainkaan sellaisista väitteistä, joita ei edes yritetä perustella.”Sana” on hepreaksi דבר/הדבר (davar/ha-davar), ja sen lukuarvo on 206/211, ja jos siihen vielä lisätään sana ”elävä”, ollaan entistä kauempana luvusta 37. Kreikaksi ”sana” on λογος (logos), jonka lukuarvo on 373, joka sekin on jo enemmän kuin kymmenkertainen 37.

I don't like statements that don't even try to be substantiated." Word" in Hebrew is דבר/הדבר (davar/ha-davar) and its numerical value is 206/211, and if we add the word "living" to it, we are even further from number 37. In Greek, "word" is λογος (logos), which has a numerical value of 373, which is also more than ten times 37.

Nimiin Jeesus, Kristus/Messias, Pelastaja/Soter, Kyrios/Herra, Ihmisen Poika, Totuus ja Jumaluus on onnistuttu laskemaan luvut, jotka kaikki ovat jollakin tavalla lukujen 8 ja 37 kerrannaisia. Olkootpa ne  väärin tai oikein, en viitsi edes tarkistaa ilman tarkkaa tietoa, minkä kielisistä nimistä luvut on laskettu.

In the names Jesus, Christ/Messiah, Savior/Soter, Kyrios/Lord, Son of Man, Truth and Deity, numbers have been successfully calculated, all of which are in some way multiples of the numbers 8 and 37. Whether they are wrong or right, I don't even bother to check without exact information which language the numbers were calculated from.

 

‼️ Luku 888 saadaan selkeästi Jeeshuan kreikankielisestä nimestä Ιησους. Mutta Vapahtajamme heprealainen/aramealainen nimi ישוע Jeeshua on suurin kaikista nimistä (Ap.t. 4: 12). Tämä tieto ei tunnu riittävän eräille numeronikkareille, sillä lukua 888 on laskettu milloin mistäkin sanoista ja lauseista, ja mikä törkeintä, se on tehty myös jopa valheellisin perustein.

The number 888 is clearly obtained from Ιησους, the Greek name of Jeshua. But ישוע Jeshua, the Hebrew/Aramaic name of our Savior,  is the greatest of all names (Acts 4: 12). This information does not seem to be enough for some number junkies, because the number 888 has been calculated from all kinds of words and sentences, and what is most outrageous, it has also been done even on false grounds. 

888 saadaan Nooan, Seemin ja Jaafetin nimistä. Tämä pitää paikkansa (tarkistin sen). Haam on jätetty pois, koska hän tuli kirotuksi. Mutta Haam oli kuitenkin niiden kahdeksan joukossa, jotka Jumala pelasti vedenpaisumuksesta.

888 is obtained from the names of Noah, Shem and Japheth. This is correct (I checked it). Ham is left out because he came cursed. But Ham was still among the eight whom God saved from the flood.

888 pitäisi tulla myös Danielin, Hananjan, Miisaelin ja Asarjan nimistä, mutta tämä väite ei pidä paikkaansa. Kun Hananjan nimi lasketaan sen mukaan, kuin se on kirjoitttu Danielin kirjassa, summaksi saadaan 891. Ilmeisesti joku neropatti on kuitenkin vaihtanut ח Chet-konsonatin (8) ה He-konsonanttiin (5) ja päässyt tavoittelemaansa lukuun.

888 should also come from the names of Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, but this statement is not true. When Hananiah's name is counted according to the way it is written in the book of Daniel, the sum is 891. Apparently, however, some genious has changed the ח Chet consonant (8) to the He consonant (5) and reached the number he was aiming for.

Luku 888 ei esiinny lainkaan Raamatun tekstissä. Jostakin kummallisesta syystä on kuitenkin kerätty suunnaton määrä nimiä ja lauseita, joiden luku on 888.  Tekaistuja tekstejä lukiessani tuli mieleeni vitsi, joka pilkkaa peukaloteksteihin luottamista: 'Juudas tappoi itsensä... mene ja tee sinä samoin.’ 

The number 888 does not appear at all in the text of the Bible. For some strange reason, however, an immense quantity of names and phrases have been collected, the number of which is 888. While reading fake texts, I remembered a joke that makes fun of relying on thumb texts: 'Judas killed himself... go and do the same.'

❓ Esimerkki/Example 1:

Tässä lauseessa sanat יהוה אלהים, Jahve Elohim eli "Herra Jumala" (jotka esiintyvät ensimmäisen kerran 1. Moos. 2: 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 15 ja sen jälkeen lukemattomissa VT:n jakeissa) on yhdistetty 2. Moos. 3: 15:sta poimittuihin sanoihin ”Aabrahamin Jumala, Iisakin Jumala, Jaakobin Jumala”. Näin on saatu luvut 112, 294, 254 ja 228, joiden summa on 888. 

In this phrase, the words יהוה אלהים, Yahweh Elohim, or "Lord God" (which first appear in Genesis 2:4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 15 and then in countless OT verses) are combined to the words "God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob” from Ex 3: 15. This is how the numbers 112, 294, 254 and 228 have been obtained, and the sum 888.

❓ Mikä tarkoitus tällaisella sanojen poimimisella eri puolilta Raamattua ja niiden yhteen liittämisellä oikein on? Onko tarkoitus todistaa/puolustaa tetragrammin jumalallisuutta? 

What is the purpose of this kind of picking words from different parts of the Bible and putting them together? Is the purpose to prove/defend the divinity of the Tetragrammaton? 

‼️ Jumalan totuus ei tarvitse puolusteluja eikä vahvistusta, sillä se on itsessään kuin terävä miekka (Hepr. 4: 12).

God's truth needs no defense or confirmation, for it is in itself like a sharp sword (Heb. 4: 12).

Tällaisella "leikkaa ja yhdistä -periaatteella" voidaan todistaa, mitä halutaan. Esim. jos minä haluan puolustaa Jumalan nimeä אהיה Ehjee, tehtävä on varsin helppo. Kun liitän nimen Ehjee jakeesta 2. Moos. 3: 14 muutamaan seuraavan jakeen sanaan, syntyy lause:

This kind of "cut and connect" principle can be used to prove anything. For example, if I want to defend God's name אהיה Ehyeh, the task is quite easy. When I connect the name Ehyeh from the verse Exodus 3:14 to a few words of the following verse, the sentence arises:

אהיה האלהים אלהי אברהם אלהי חצחק אלהי חעקב

MinäOlen Jumala, Aabrahamin Jumala, Iisakin Jumala, Jaakobin Jumala

I Am God, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob

Myös tämän lauseen lukuarvo on 888!

The numerical value of this sentence is also 888!

Tämän esimerkin lause on törkeää Raamatun tekstin vääristelyä ja suoranaista valehtelemista.

The sentence in this example is a gross distortion of the Bible text and outright lying.

Kuvassa olevaan lauseeseen on poimittu neljä sanaa Jes. 7: 14:sta, ja loppuun on lisättu tetragrammi יהוה, Jahve/Jehova. Näin yhdistelty lause kuuluu suomeksi: ”neitsyt tulee raskaaksi ja synnyttää pojan, Jahven” ... voidaan kääntää myös: ”neitsyt tulee raskaaksi ja synnyttää Jahven pojan”. Onko Jahve/Jehova siis Isä vai Poika? 

The sentence in the picture contains four words from Isa. 7: 14, and at the end is added the Tetragrammaton יהוה, Yahweh/Jehovah. The sentence combined like this reads in English: "a virgin becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son, Yahweh" ... can also be translated: "a virgin becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son of Yahweh". So is Yahweh/Jehovah the Father or the Son?

‼️ Tämä valheellinen lause on syytä hylätä kokonaan ja katsoa, mitä Jesajan 7: 14: ssa oikeasti lukee: 

This false sentence should be rejected completely and look at what Isaiah 7:14 really says:

‼️ ככן יתן אדני הוא לכם אות הנה העלמה הרה וילדת בן וקראת שמו עמנו אל  

suomeksi: "Sentähden Herra itse antaa teille merkin: Katso, neitsyt tulee raskaaksi ja synnyttää pojan ja antaa hänelle nimen Immanuel."

in English: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

‼️ Jes. 7: 14:ssa ei ole tetragrammia lainkaan! Jakeen alkuosassa sanotaan kyllä, että ”Herra itse antaa teille merkin”, mutta sana ”Herra” tulee heprean sanasta אדני Adonai, kuten heprean tekstistä voidaan nähdä.

Jes. 7:14 has no Tetragrammaton at all! The beginning of the verse does say that "the Lord himself will give you a sign", but the word "Lord" comes from the Hebrew word אדני Adonai, as can be seen from the Hebrew text.

‼️ Jakeen loppuosassa sanojen שמו עמנו אל "nimen Immanuel" lukuarvo on 543. 

At the end of the verse, the numerical value of the words שמו עמנו אל "the name Immanuel" is 543.

‼️ Tämä luku on hyvin merkityksellinen, sillä se on sanojen אהיה אשר אהיה, ehjee asher ehjee (minä olen joka minä olen) lukuarvo, sekä myös nimen אל שדי  Kaikkivaltias lukuarvo. 

This number is very significant because it is the numerical value of the words אהיה אשר אהיה, ehyeh asher ehyeh (I am that I am), and also the numerical value of the name אל שדי Almighty.

‼️ Tämän lisäksi luvun (543) käänteinen luku (345) tulee nimestä משה Mooses, ja Mooseshan oli enne/esikuva Jeeshuasta (Ap.t 3: 33; Hepr. 3: 1 - 6). Ja huomio: 543 +345 = 888.

In addition to this, the reversed number (345) of the number (543) comes from the name משה Moses, and Moses was a type/example of Jeshua (Acts 3: 33; Heb. 3: 1 - 6). And note: 543 + 345 = 888.

‼️ Samalla tavalla kuin luvut 543 ja 345 ovat peilikuvia toisilleen, samoin Kaikkivaltias Isä ja Jumalan Poika ovat toistensa peilikuvia. 

In the same way that the numbers 543 and 345 are mirror images of each other, so the Almighty Father and the Son of God are mirror images of each other.

‼️ Nämä lukuarvot ja kielikuvat nousevat suoraan Raamatin tekstistä ilman minkäänlaista väkinäistä "leikkaa ja yhdistä -periaatetta”.

These numerical values and language images emerge directly from the text of the Bible without any forced "cut and join" principle.

 ‼️ Ihmettelen suuresti Jesajan tekstin muokkaamista ja sitä väkinäistä tapaa, jolla on saatu nostettua luku 888 esiin ja samalla syrjäytettyä luku 543 ! Onko tässäkin siis jonkunlainen yritys nostaa tetragrammi יהוה Jahve/Jehova tärkeämmäksi kuin nimi אהיה Ehjee? Mutta Jumalaan ja Hänen pyhään nimeensä ei voi liittyä mitään valheellisuutta!

I am very surprised at the editing of Isaiah's text and the forceful way in which the number 888 has been brought up and at the same time the number 543 has been pushed aside! So is there some kind of attempt to make the Tetragrammaton יהוה Yahwe/Jehovah more important than the name אהיה Ehyeh?But there can be no falsehood associated with God and His holy name!

‼️ Tuollainen tekstien pilkkominen ja yhdistely on halpamainen yritys johtaa ihmisiä harhaan! Se on Saatanan työtä, sillä Jumalassa ei ole pienintäkään vilppiä eikä valhetta!

Such splitting and combining of texts is a cheap attempt to mislead people! It is the work of Satan, because there is not the slightest deceit or lie in God!
