Kaikille lienee tuttua ajatus kylvämisen ja niittämisen välisestä yhteydestä. Sanonta "sitä niittää, mitä kylvää" lienee nykymuodossaan "sitä saa, mitä tilaa". Myös Salomo kirjoitti jotakin samantapaista: "ihmisen eteen kiertyvät hänen kättensä työt" (Sanal. 12: 14).
Probably everyone is familiar with the idea of sowing and mowing. The saying "what you sow, you reap" maybe in its modern form "you get what you order". Even Solomon wrote something like that: "the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him" (Prov. 12: 14).
Muistan, miten äitini kertoi minulle useita esimerkkitapauksia lapsena tuntemieni ihmisten todellisesta elämästä. Joukossa oli tapauksia, joissa joku oli tehnyt kauheita asioita jollekin perheenjäsenelleen, naapurilleen tai tuttavalleen, mutta saanut itse kokea vastaavaa kauheutta monien vuosien jälkeen. I can remember, how my mother told me about the real life of some people I knew, when I was a child. Among them there were cases, when someone had done something terrible to his family member, neighbour or friend, but had experienced such horrible things some years later. Those stories are very memorable to me, and often in my daily life I remember my mother gratefully for teaching me with those impressive examples the serious connections between sowing and moving.
Viime päivinä olen miettinyt rahaa ja sen hankkimista vääryydellä tai toisia ihmisiä loukaten ja heidän elämäänsä raskauttaen. Voiko sellaisella elämäntyylillä olla mitään todellista siunausta? Olkoon kysymyksessä yksityinen henkilö, perhe, yhteisö tai vaikka seurakunta, voiko Jumala antaa siunauksensa väärin perustein kootuille varoille? Selkeä vastaus on: Ei!
The last few days I've been thinking about money and its acquisition with unrighteousness or hurting other people and making their life hard/difficult. Can such a lifestyle have any real blessing? It does not matter whether it's an individual, family, community or church, can God bless such resources/funds? The simply reply is : No!
