Ollessani kuluneella viikolla kesämökillä kuuntelin aamuisin radiosta aamuhartauksia. Eräs hartauden pitäjä puhui hyvin kauniisti Jeesuksesta, mutta hänen loppuvetonsa puistatti minua. Hän oli nimittäin sitä mieltä, että ennen kuin ihminen voi löytää Jeesuksen, hänen on löydettävä seurakunta, ja opittava sen kautta tie Jeesuksen luo.
When I was at the summer house last week, I listened to morning devotions on the radio. A devotee spoke very nicely about Jesus, but his final sentence shook me. He was of the opinion that before a person can find Jesus, he must find a church/congregation, and learn the way to Jesus through it.

Let's see what ישוע Yeshua himself taught.
📖 Joh. 14: 6: ”Minä olen tie, totuus ja elämä; ei kukaan tule Isän tykö muutoin kuin minun kauttani.” Jeshua ei mainitse mitään siitä, että seurakunta johtaisi ihmisen Hänen luokseen.
John 14: 6: ”I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Yeshua does not mention anything about the church leading a person to Him.
📖 Matt. 19: 21: Jeshuan suora vastaus eräälle miehelle, joka kysyi, mitä hyvää hänen pitäisi tehdä, jotta hän saisi iankaikkisen elämän: "... tule ja seuraa minua.”
Matthew 19: 21: Yeshua's direct answer to a man who asked what good thing he must do to receive eternal life: "... come and follow me."
📖 Matt. 11: 28: ”Tulkaa minun tyköni, kaikki työtätekeväiset ja raskautetut, niin minä annan teille levon.” Työn ja kuormien raskauttama ihminen tarvitsee välitöntä apua, helpotusta ja lepoa, eikä eri seurakuntien opinkappaleiden, sakramenttien ja hengellisten käytäntöjen opettelua.
Matthew 11: 28: ”Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” A person weighed down by work and burdens needs immediate help, relief and rest, and not learning the doctrines, sacraments and spiritual practices of different churches.
📖 Joh. 6: 44: ”Ei kukaan voi tulla minun tyköni, ellei Isä, joka on minut lähettänyt, häntä vedä...” Seurakunnat kilpailevat keskenään jäsenmääriensä kasvattamisessa, ja jokainen niistä on olevinaan toinen toistaan parempi tie taivaaseen. Mutta kutsu pelastukseen tulee Jumalalta, joka on Jeshuan opetuksen mukaan ”meidän Isämme”. Pelastuksen alullepanijaa ei mikään maallinen seurakunta voi ohittaa.
John 6: 44: ”No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...” Congregations compete with each other to increase their membership, and each of them is a better way to heaven than the other. But the call to salvation comes from God, who according to Yeshua's teaching is "our Father". No earthly church can surpass the initiator of salvation.
📖 Matt. 25: 34: Kun Ihmisen Poika saapuu Kirkkaudessaan kaikkien enkeleiden kanssa noutamaan Isän antaman kutsun vastaan ottaneita taivaalliseen kotiin, Hän lausuu: ”Tulkaa, minun Isäni siunatut, ja omistakaa se valtakunta, joka on ollut teille valmistettuna maailman perustamisesta asti.”
Mikään seurakunta ei ole ollut perustamassa ennen maailman luomista Jumalan valtakuntaa, eikä näin ollen voi myöskään antaa kenellekään pääsyä sinne. Seurakuntien edustamat opit, tulkinnat ja julistukset punnitaan viimeisenä päivänä. Taivaan portit avautuvat vain niille, jotka ovat seuranneet sitä tietä, totuutta ja elämää, jonka nimi on ישוע, sillä Isän siunaus tulee yksin Jeshuan kautta!
Matthew 25: 34: When the Son of Man arrives in His Glory with all the angels to pick up those who have accepted the invitation given by the Father to the heavenly home, He says: ”Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
No church/congregation has been establishing the kingdom of God before the creation of the world, and therefore no one can give access to it either. The doctrines, interpretations and declarations represented by the congregations are weighed on the last day. The gates of heaven open only to those who have followed the way, the truth and the life whose name is ישוע, because the Father's blessing comes only through Yeshua!
📖 Matt. 16: 18: Tämä teksti on kenties väärin ymmärretyin/käännetyin teksti Raamatussa. Siinä Jeshua sanoo Pietarille: ”sinä olet Pietari (Petros), ja/mutta/sen sijaan tälle kalliolle (petra) minä rakennan seurakuntani...”
Kreikaksi: καγω δε λεγω οτι ει Πετρος, και επι ταυτη τη πετρα οικοδομησω μου την εκκλησιαν
Jeshua kutsui Pietaria nimellä πετρος Petros (nimi alkaa isolla kirjaimella), joka merkitsee ”vierivä kivi”.
Mutta Jeshua ei perustanut seurakuntaansa ”vierivälle kivelle”, vaan ”kalliolle”, joka on kreikaksi πετρα petra (sana alkaa pienellä kirjaimella). Sama petra-sana esiintyy myös 1. Kor. 10: 4:ssä, jossa Paavali paljastaa, mitä ”kallio” tarkoittaa ja kehen se viittaa.
1. Kor. 10: 4: πετρα δε ην ο Χριστος... kallio oli Kristus
Kreikankielinen sana Kristus on vastine heprean sanalle משיח mashiach eli Messias/Voideltu, siis itse Jeshua.
Jeshua on itse oman seurakuntansa perustus, sillä Hän on vakaa ja muuttumaton kuin kallio, eikä ailahteleva niin kuin "vierivä kivi” eli Pietari.
Kreikan sana και (kai) on konjunktio, joka ilmaisee sanojen ja lauseiden rinnakkaisuutta, peräkkäisyyttä tai vastakohtaisuutta. και merkitsee: 1. ja, 2. niin, 3. mutta, sen sijaan, 4. kysymyksen tai ihmettelyn johdantona: no mutta, hyvänen aika, 5. sekä... että, 6. vastaa sulkeita, 7. adverbina: myös, 8. jopa, vieläpä, 9. vielä, kaiken lisäksi
Kun sanat Petros ja petra ymmärretään ja käännetään oikein, ”mutta” tai ”sen sijaan” on ainoa sopiva ja looginen konjunktio tässä jakeessa.
Matthew 16: 18: This text is perhaps the most misunderstood/translated text in the Bible. In it Yeshua says to Peter: ”... thou art Peter (Petros), and/but/instead upon this rock (petra) I will build my church...”
In Greek: καγω δε λεγω οτι ει Πετρος, και επι ταυτη τη πετρα οποδεκησω μου την εκκλησιαν
Yeshua called Peter as πετρος Petros (the name begins with a capital letter), which means "rolling stone”.
But Yeshua did not found his church on a "rolling stone", but on a "rock", which in Greek is πετρα petra (the word starts with a small letter). The same word ”petra" also occurs in 1 Cor. 10:4, where Paul reveals what "rock" means and to whom it refers.
1 Cor. 10: 4: πετρα δε ην ο Χριστος... the rock was Christ
The Greek word Christ is the equivalent of the Hebrew word משיח mashiach, meaning Messiah/the Anointed One, that is Yeshua himself.
Yeshua himself is the foundation of his own church, because He is stable and unchanging like a rock, and not wavering like a "rolling stone" or Peter.
The Greek word και (kai) is a conjunction that expresses the parallelism, succession or opposition of words and sentences. και means: 1. and, 2. so, 3. but, instead, 4. as an introduction to a question or wonder: well but, good time, 5. both... that, 6. corresponds to parentheses, 7. as an adverb: also, 8. even, moreover, 9. yet, besides
When the words Petros and petra are properly understood and translated, "but" or "instead" is the only appropriate and logical conjunction in this verse.
📖 Kol. 1: 18: Paavali oli ymmärtänyt Petroksen ja petran merkityksen oikein, sillä kirjeessä kolossalaisille hän nimittää seurakuntaa ”ruumiiksi” (σωματος soomatos) ja Jeshuaa sen ”pääksi” (κηφαλις keefalis)... κεφαλη του σωματος της εκκλησιας. Pää on ruumiin yläpuolella ja sitä suurempi, sillä pää/aivot ohjaa koko kehoa.
Samassa jakeessa Paavali kutsuu Jeshuaa sanalla αρχη arxee eli ”alku/alkaja/ensimmäinen”. Jeshuan edelle ei mene mikään seurakunta!
Col. 1: 18: Paul had understood the meaning of Peter and petra correctly, because in the letter to the Colossians he names the church as the "body" (σωματος somatos) and Yeshua as its "head" (κηφαλις kefalis)... κεφαλη του σωματος της εκκλησιας. The head is above the body and greater than it, because the head/brain controls the whole body.
In the same verse, Paul calls Yeshua with the word αρχη arxee, meaning "beginning/beginner/first". No church comes before Yeshua!
📖 Joh. 6: 35: Kun suuret kansanjoukot seurasivat Jeshuaa ruokkimis-ihmeen jälkeen ilmaisen ruuan toivossa, Jeshua jakoi heille vakavia sanoja ja syvällisiä opetuksia: ”Minä olen elämän leipä; joka tulee minun tyköni, se ei koskaan isoa, ja joka uskoo minuun , se ei koskaan janoa”.
📖 Joh. 6: 37: Samassa tilaisuudessa Jeshua sanoi myös näin: ”Kaikki, minkä Isä antaa minulle, tulee minun tyköni; ja sitä, joka minun tyköni tulee, minä en heitä ulos”.
Isä vetää yksilöitä Jeshuan tykö, ja Jeshua pitää jokaisesta huolen, toisin kuin seurakunnat, joissa on sulauduttava papin opetuksen mukaiseksi massaksi tai muuten joudutaan heitetyksi ulos.
John 6: 37: On the same occasion, Yeshua also said this: ”All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
The Father draws individuals to Yeshua, and Yeshua takes care of each one, unlike the congregations, where you have to merge into a mass according to the priest's teaching or else you will be thrown out.
📖 Mark. 10: 14: Markus kertoo opetuslasten estelleen vanhempia tuomasta lapsiaan Jeshuan siunattaviksi. Mutta Jeshua närkästyi opetuslasten toiminnasta ja sanoi heille: ”Sallikaa lasten tulla minun tyköni, älkääkä estäkö heitä, sillä senkaltaisten on taivasten valtakunta”.
Mark 10: 14: Markus tells how the disciples prevented parents from bringing their children to be blessed by Yeshua. But Yeshua was indignant at the actions of the disciples and said to them: ”Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
📖 Matt. 18: 3: Eräässä toisessa tilanteessa, kun opetuslapset kiistelivät siitä, kuka heistä on suurin, Jeshua sanoi heille: ”... ellette käänny ja tule lasten kaltaisiksi, ette pääse taivasten valtakuntaan”.
Matt. 18: 3: On another occasion, when the disciples were arguing about who among them was the greatest, Yeshua said to them: ”... Expect ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
Isä on pelastuksen pääsuunnittelija; Hän vetää jokaista Jeshuan luo, ja Isän luo pääsee ainoastaan Pojan kautta. Tätä jumalallista järjestelyä eivät mitkään seurakunnat voi ohittaa, kuvittelevatpa tai uskovatpa mitä hyvänsä. Kukaan ihminen ei voi milloinkaan muuttaa Jumalan järjestystä, ajatuksia ja suunnitelmia.
The Father is the master designer of salvation; He draws everyone to Yeshua, and the Father can only be reached through the Son. No churches/congregations can bypass this divine arrangement, no matter what they imagine or believe. No man can ever change God's order, thoughts and plans.
