Kummallinen yhtäläisyys * Strange similarity

Raamatun henkilöiden nimillä on aina jokin merkitys, sillä niihin on ikuistettu jokin asia, tapahtuma, tunne tai kokemus. Esimerkkejä löytyy mm. Jaakobin poikien ja profeettojen nimistä. Profeettojen nimissä esiintyy lähes poikkeuksetta sana "Herra".
Herra on pelastus/Herra pelastaa = Jesaja = ישעיה
Herra on korkea/Herra korottaa = Jeremia = ירמיה
Herra on vapahtaja/Herra vapahtaa = Hoosea = הושע
Herra on Jumala = Jooel = יואל
Herran palvelija = Obadja = עובדיה
Herra muistaa = Sakarja = זכריה
Herran sanansaattaja = Malakia = מלאכי

The biblical personal names always have some meaning, because some thing, event, feeling or experience has been attached to those names. For instance the names of Jacob' sons and the names of the prophets. Almost without exception the prophet names include the word "Lord".
The Lord saves/The Lord is a rescue = Isaiah = ישעיה
The Lord raises/The Lord is high = Jeremiah = ירמיה
The Lord redeems/The Lord is a Redeemer = Hosea = הושע
The Lord is God = Joel = יואל
The Lord's servant = Obadiah = עובדיה
The Lord remembers = Zechariah = זכריה
The Lord's messenger = Malachi = מלאכי

Yhdessäkään noissa nimistä ei esiinny kuitenkaan koko tetragrammi יהוה. Tavallisesti niissä on vain kaksi tetragrammin kirjainta, mutta on myös nimiä, joissa on vain yksi tetragrammin kirjain.

None of those names include the whole Tetragrammaton יהוה. Usually the names have only two consonants of the Tetragrammaton, but there are also some names, which has only one consonant of it.

Koko maailmassa tiedetään, että יהוה tarkoittaa juutalaisten Jumalaa/jumalaa. Kummallista, mutta juutalaisten Jumalan nimi löytyy heidän omasta nimestään!

It is known in the entire world that יהוה means the God/god of the Jews. Very strange indeed, but the name of the Jewish God is in their own name!
