Kun noin 30 vuotta sitten aloin ihmetellä kolminaisuusoppia ja sen perusteita ja kun kymmenen vuotta myöhemmin ihmettelyni ja epäilyni kohdistuivat nimeen Jahve/Jehova, ajauduin tahtomattani eri linjoille kristillisen maailman kanssa. Tuntui siltä, että ajatuksiani ei ymmärretty missään, ja näytti siltä, että minua vastaan haluttiin hyökätä mitä ilkeimmällä tavalla.
When about 30 years ago I started to wonder about the doctrine of the Trinity and its foundations, and when ten years later my wondering and doubts focused on the name Yahweh/Jehovah, I unintentionally drifted into different lines with the Christian world. It seemed that my thoughts were not understood anywhere, and I thought that they wanted to attack me in the most vicious way.

But thanks to the good Heavenly Father who has seen my path from the beginning and even before that! Traveling alone and different doesn't scare or burden me, because I've learned to live that way since I was little. It has been downright wonderful to travel together with my own Savior and Father.

The past decades have changed things. At the moment, I can read encouraging news that the debate is raging all over the world about both the Trinity and Yahweh/Jehovah. I no longer feel alone with my thoughts.

Today I can find many persons who testify for one God and show with the help of the Bible the surprising truth that Yahweh/Jehovah is not God the Father nor His Son, Yeshua, but Satan himself.

Tässä kirjoituksessani keskityn Johanneksen evankeliumin kahdeksanteen lukuun ja siinä olevaan Jeshuan opetukseen juutalaisille.
In this article, I will focus on the eighth chapter of the Gospel of John and Yeshua's teaching to the Jews in it.
Kahdeksannen luvun tapahtumat alkavat Öljymäeltä, jossa Jeshua oli viettänyt yönsä. Jeshua oli aamuvirkku, ja Hän aloitti päivänsä aikaisin aamulla. Tuona aamuna Hän meni temppeliin opettamaan ympärilleen kokoontuvia ihmisiä. Ja totta kai paikalle saapuivat myös Jeshuan vainoojat, kirjanoppineet ja fariseukset.
The events of the eighth chapter begin on the Mount of Olives, where Yeshua had spent the night. Yeshua was a morning person, and He started His day early in the morning. That morning He went to the temple to teach the people gathered around Him. And of course Yeshua's persecutors, scribes and Pharisees also arrived.
Jatkaakseen ikään kuin edellisen päivän keskusteluja he toivat Jeshuan eteen aviorikoksesta kiinni joutuneen naisen. Mooseksen lain mukaan tuollainen tapaus oli kivitettävä (3. Moos. 20: 10; 5. Moos. 22: 22).
To continue, as it were, the previous day's discussions, they brought before Yeshua a woman who had been caught in adultery. According to the law of Moses, such a case was to be stoned (Lev. 20: 10; Deut. 22: 22).
Nikodeemus (joka myös oli fariseus) oli sanonut edellisenä päivänä: ”Eihän meidän lakimme mukaan ketään voi tuomita, ennen kuin on kuultu ja otettu selville, mitä hän on tehnyt” (Joh. 7: 51). Jeshualle asetettiin siis koe, joka paljastaisi Hänen suhteensa Mooseksen lakiin (Joh. 8: 2 - 11).
Nicodemus (who was also a Pharisee) had said the day before: According to our law, no one can be judged until it has been heard and found out what he has done (John. 7: 51). So a test was set for Yeshua that would reveal His relationship to the Law of Moses.

It is known that this fragment (John 8: 2 - 11 - the woman caught in adultery) may even be an addition, as it appears in some manuscripts in the Gospel of Luke and in other manuscripts in a different place in the Gospel of John.

Placed at the beginning of the eighth chapter of the Gospel of John, this passage gives depth to Yeshua's teaching and creates a strong contrast between the judgmental spirit of the Jews and Yeshua's mercy and longsuffering.
Jeshua ei tuominnut naista, vaan vaikeni sekä hänen että hänen syyttäjiensä synneistä. Mutta Hän osoitti maahan piirtämillä kirjoituksillaan jumalallisen luonteensa, ja sen että Hän tietää ja tuntee salatuimmatkin asiat.
Yeshua did not condemn the woman, but was silent about the sins of both her and her accusers. But He showed His divine nature with the writings He drew on the ground, and that He knows and sees even the most secret things.
Fariseukset saapuivat paikalle syyttäjinä, ja Jeshua antoi heille oikeuden tuomita ja kivittää naisen, jos heidän omatuntonsa sen sallisi, ja jos he tuntisivat itsensä vanhurskaiksi naisen rinnalla.
The Pharisees arrived as accusers, and Yeshua gave them the right to judge and stone the woman if their conscience allowed it, and if they felt righteous alongside her.

After this event, Yeshua presented himself to his listeners as "the light of the world" (John 8: 12). Light came into this world on the first day of creation (Genesis 1:3).
Valkeus loisti hetkellisesti myös fariseusten pimeisiin sydämiin niin, että he tunsivat syntinsä ja syyllisyytensä ja poistuivat paikalta syyttämästä naista. Mutta jo seuraavassa hetkessä he olivat valmiit hyökkäämään Jeshuaa vastaan samomalla, että Jeshuan todistus itsestään ei ole pätevä (Joh. 8: 13).
The light also shone momentarily on the dark hearts of the Pharisees, so that they felt their sin and guilt and left the place of the accusing woman. But in the next moment they were ready to attack Yeshua with the claim that Yeshua's testimony about himself is not valid (Jn. 8: 13).
Fariseukset olivat jatkuvasti valmiita tuomitsemaan Jeshuan ja hänen sanansa ja tekonsa tutkimatta ja paneutumatta Hänen sanomaansa ja missioonsa mitenkään. He eivät kestäneet kuulla totuutta Totuuden suusta.
The Pharisees were constantly ready to condemn Yeshua and his words and actions without examining and putting any effort into His message and mission. They could not bear to hear the truth from the mouth of Truth.
Vastauksessaan fariseuksille Jeshua todisti jumallisuudestaan: ”te tuomitsette lihan mukaan”, ”niin kuin ihmiset ainakin”... mutta: ”minä en tuomitse ketään”(Joh. 8: 15). Ja seuraavaksi Jeshua viittasi Isään, joka on Hänet lähettänyt ja on Hänen kanssaan (Joh. 8: 16).
In his answer to the Pharisees, Yeshua testified of his divinity: you judge according to the flesh, at least as men do... but: I judge no one (Jn. 8: 15). And next, Yeshua referred to the Father who sent Him and is with Him (Jn. 8: 16).

Juutalaiset eivät sietäneet näitä Jeshuan sanoja. He poimivat maasta kiviä heittääkseen niillä nyt Häntä aviorikoksesta syytetyn naisen sijaan (Joh. 8: 59).
The Jews did not tolerate these Yeshua's words. They picked up stones from the ground to throw them at Him instead of the woman accused of adultery (John 8: 59).
Jos palvomme Jahvea/Jehovaa, me kuolemme synteihimme, sillä pelastus on yksin Jeshuassa (Matt. 1: 21; Joh. 8: 24). Maailmassa ei ole toista nimeä, jossa voisimme pelastua (Ap.t. 4: 10 - 12).
If we worship Yahweh/Jehovah, we will die to our sins, because salvation is in Yeshua alone (Matthew 1: 21; John 8: 24). There is no other name in the world by which we can be saved (Acts 4: 10 - 12).
Vain ישוע Jeshua on pelastus ישועה! Kun Hän tuli Ehjeen nimessä, kuolema ei voinut voittaa Häntä!
Only ישוע Yeshua is salvation ישועה! When He came in the name of Ehyeh, death could not defeat Him!
Palvoessamme Jahvea/Jehovaa, me kivitämme ainoan Pelastajamme ja Hänen Lähettäjänsä!
