The angel sent to advise and encourage Joseph said this about Miriam (מרים) and her son: "And she (Miriam) will give birth to a son, and you must call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1: 21).
Hepreaksi ja arameaksi Vapahtajan äidin nimi on מרים Miriam, ja Vapahtajan nimi on ישוע Jeshua. Juuri tällä tavalla nuo nimet kirjoitetaan sekä heprean että aramean teksteissä.
In Hebrew and Aramaic, the Savior's mother's name is מרים Miriam, and the Savior's name is ישוע Yeshua. This is exactly how those names are written in both Hebrew and Aramaic texts.
Joosefille ilmestyneen enkelin sanoissa näkyy myös jo Jeshua nimen merkitys: ”hän on vapahtava” = hän vapahtaa/hän pelastaa. Siis Jeshuan nimi merkitsee sitä, että HÄN (itse) PELASTAA.
In the words of the angel who appeared to Joseph, the meaning of the name Yeshua can also be already seen: "he saves”. So Jeshua's name means that HE (himself) SAVES.
Kuitenkin meille on opetettu, että Jeshuan nimi merkitsee ”Jahve pelastaa”. Mutta kun katsomme hepreaksi/arameaksi kirjoitettua nimeä ישוע, missä siinä on Jahvea/Jehovaa tarkoittava tetragrammi (יהוה)? However, we are taught that Yeshua's name means "Yahweh saves". But when we look at the Hebrew/Aramaic written name ישוע, where is the Tetragrammaton (יהוה) for Yahweh/Jehovah? The only letter that could refer to the Tetragrammaton is the first consonant of the name י Yod, but Yod alone is not enough to represent that name.

So it is then explained to us that Yeshua's name must be written in another way; did you see יהושע But when the Savior's name is spelled differently, it is also pronounced differently. The name in question is pronounced Jehoshuah (Joshua). This name is connected to Jeshua by explaining that Joshua was a type of Jeshua. And see, Joshua's name is a theophoric name, and it really means "Yahweh/Jehova saves".

Where did this change of Yeshua's name come from? The change is based on the first Greek translation of the Old Testament, the Septuagint. In the Septuagint, the name Joshua is written Ιησους (Jos. 2: 1), and the name Jesus, already known in Old Testament times, is written Ιησου (1 Chron. 24: 11; Neh. 11: 26).

Thus, the Greek name Ιησους corresponds in the translations of the New Testament (e.g. Nestle - Aland NOVUM TESTAMENTUM GRAECE) to both the name Jeshua (Matthew 1: 21) and the name Joshua (Acts 7: 45). However, it must be remembered that the two names differ from each other in both the way they are written and pronounced in Hebrew and Aramaic.

Would the heavenly messenger who visited Joseph have given the Savior of the world a name modified through the Greek language? Certainly not, because the reason given by the angel for the name of Miriam's son was: "he will save". So: Yeshua himself saves!
Kääntäessäni sanasta sanaan hepreankielisen Ilmestyskirjan tekstiä riemuitsin suunnattomasti Ilm. 7: 10:n kohdalla, kun eteeni tuli sana הישועה. While translating the text of the Hebrew Revelation word for word, I was overjoyed at Rev. 7: 10 when the word הישועה came before me. This word means SALVATION, and in the definite form of this word there is the familiar 'Yeshua'. When the definite article ה is stripped from the word, what remains is ישועה, which is pronounced the same as the name ישוע. So Yeshua is Salvation. Yeshua is the only Salvation!
Ap.t. 4: 10 - 12: ”niin olkoon teille kaikille ja koko Israelin kansalle tiettävä, että Jeesuksen Kristuksen, Nasaretilaisen, nimen kautta, hänen, jonka te ristiinnaulitsitte, mutta jonka Jumala kuolleista herätti, hänen nimensä kautta tämä seisoo terveenä teidän edessänne. Acts 4: 10 - 12: ”Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doeth this man syand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you buoilders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
And the only name is ישוע Yeshua!
Heprean pelastus-sana esiintyy eri muodoissaan myös Vanhan Testamentin puolella (77 kertaa). Aivan ensimmäisen kerran kyseinen sana esiintyy Jaakobin pojalleen, Daanille, esittämissä sanoissa (1. Moos. 49: 17, 18). Jaakob totesi Daanin odottavan pelastusta Jahvelta. Mutta Ilmestyskirja paljastaa, että Daanin nimi puuttuu sinetöityjen joukosta (Ilm. 7: 4 - 8), ja hänen tilalleen on otettu Joosefin poika, Manasse.
The Hebrew word "salvation" appears in its various forms also in the Old Testament (77 times). The word in question appears for the very first time in Jacob's words to his son Dan (Genesis 49: 17, 18). Jacob stated that Dan was waiting for salvation from Yahweh. But the Book of Revelation reveals that Dan's name is missing from among those sealed (Rev. 7: 4 - 8), and Joseph's son, Manasseh, has been taken in his place.

Daan odotti siis turhaan pelastusta Jahvelta. Pelastuksen odottaminen on turhaa, kun ei ole Pelastajaa. Jahvella ei ole Poikaa, joka pelastaisi kansansa. Raamatussa ei todella mainita kertaakaan, että Jahvella olisi poika (Jahven poika). Isän nimi ei ole Jahve/Jehova, sillä Jeshua ei käyttänyt Isästään tuota nimeä kertaakaan.
So Dan waited in vain for salvation from Yahweh. Waiting for salvation is pointless when there is no Savior. Yahweh has no Son to save his people. The Bible does not actually mention once that Yahweh has a son (son of Yahweh). The Father's name is not Yahweh/Jehovah, because Yeshua never used that name for his Father.
Mutta sen sijaan Daan on käärmeenä tiellä. Ja Käärmeenhän me kyllä tiedämme ja tunnemme (2. Kor. 11: 3; Ilm. 12: 9; 20: 2).
But instead, Dan is a snake in the way. And we do know the Serpent (2. Cor. 11: 3; Rev. 12: 9; 20: 2).
