Kun Jeeshua oli ollut erämaassa 40 päivää syömättä, Perkele katsoi tilaisuutensa tulleen. Kiusaajan päämäärä oli nujertaa Jeeshuan usko ja luottamus Isä-Jumalaan ja kyseenalaistaa Hänen juurensa "Jumalan Poikana."
After Jeshua had been in the wilderness for 40 days without eating, the Devil saw his opportunity had come. The Teaser's goal was to defeat Jeshua's faith and trust in God the Father and question His roots as the "Son of God."
Jos Jumala kerran oli luonut taivaan ja maan Sanalla, niin tottahan Jeeshua voisi muuttaa kivet leiviksi. Saatana otti irvailunsa kohteeksi Jumalan luomisvoiman ja -tavan. Elohistisen luomiskertomuksen (1. Moos. 1: 1 - 2: 3) luomista merkitsevä heprean verbi on ברא (baaraa) = tehdä olemattomasta oleva. Elohimin loi kaiken tyhjästä sanansa voimalla (Ps. 33: 6).
If God had once created the heavens and the earth with the Word, then truly Jeshua could turn the stones into bread. Satan mocked God's creative power and manner. The Hebrew verb meaning to create in the elohistic creation story (Gen. 1: 1 - 2: 3) is ברא (bara) = to make existing things from nothing. Elohim created everything from nothing by the power of his word (Ps. 33: 6).
Jahvistisen luomiskertomuksen (1. Moos. 2: 4 - 25) luomista merkitsevät verbit, ovat עשה (aasaa) ja יצר (jaazaar), ja ne edellyttävät käsien käyttöä ja valmista alkumateriaalia. Jahven kerrotaan muokanneen miehen maan tomusta ja naisen miehen kylkiluusta.
The verb denoting the creation in the Yahwist creation story (Gen. 2: 4 - 25), are עשה (asa) and יצר (jazar), and they require the use of hands and finished starting material. Yahweh is said to have shaped a man from the dust of the earth and a woman from the rib of a man.
Perkele sekoitti siis aineksia molemmista luomiskertomuksista kehoittaen Jeeshuaa käyttämään sanan voimaa, mutta käyttämään myös valmista ainetta eli kiveä leivän valmistukseen.
The Devil thus mixed the ingredients from both creation stories, urging Jeshua to use the power of the word, but also to use the finished substance/material, stone, to make bread.
On varsin mielenkiintoista panna merkille, miten Jeeshua torjui Saatanan hyökkäyksen!
It is quite interesting to note how Jeshua repelled Satan's attack!

Jokainen voi sydämessään miettiä ja rukouksessa etsiä Jumalalta (Elohimilta) viisautta siihen, mitä Jeeshuan antama vastaus todella merkitsee! Jeeshua voitti Perkeleen kiusaukset kirjoitetulla sanalla, eikä Hänen sanoissaan voi olla rahtuakaan valheellisuutta!
Everyone can think about in his heart and pray for wisdom from God (Elohim) to what Jeshua's answer really means!Jeshua overcame the temptations of the Devil with a written word, and there can be no falsehood in His words!
Jumalan sanat ovat kokonansa totuus (Ps. 119: 160), mutta ihmisten sanat eivät muutu Jumalan sanoiksi Raamatun kansien sisälläkään. Meidän on syytä erottaa Jumalan sanat ihmisten lisäämistä ja poistamista sanoista. Tekstin muuttamista koskevia varoituksia ei ole suotta kirjoitettu Raamattuun (5. Moos. 12: 32; 13: 1; Sanal. 30: 6; Ilm. 22: 19)!
The words of God are entirely the truth (Ps. 119: 160), but the words of men do not become the words of God even within the covers of the Bible. We need to separate the words of God from the words added and removed by men. The warnings about changing the text are not written in vain in the Bible (Deut. 12:32; 13: 1; Proverbs 30: 6; Rev. 22:19)!

Myöhemmin olen tarkistanut jakeen Matt. 4: 4 Peshittan tekstistä ja jakeen 5. Moos. 8: 3 Targumeista (Jonathan ja Onkelos) nähdäkseni, miten arameassa asia on ilmaistu. Peshittan tekstissä on ”Jumala”, vaikka molemmissa Targumeissa on tetragrammin vastinen יי (Jeja).
Later I checked the verse of Matt. 4: 4 from the text of Peshitta and the verse of Deuteronomy 8: 3 from the Targums (Jonathan and Onkelos) to see how it is expressed in Aramaic. There is “God” in Peshitta’s text, although both Targums have the word יי (Yeya) corresponding to the Tetragrammaton.
