Käärme (hepreaksi נחש nachash) on Jahven (יהוה אלהים) luoma eläin, niin kerrotaan 1.Moos. 3: 1:ssa. Nachash oli ovela ja viisas sekoittaessaan Jahven sanat Elohimin sanoiksi, sillä Käärme kysyi Eevalta ”onko Jumala/ELOHIM todella sanonut”, vaikka Herra Jumala/Jahve Elohim oli nimenomaan se, joka oli kieltänyt syömästä paratiisin keskellä olevasta puusta (1. Moos. 2: 16, 17). Käärme/Nachas kumosi Jahven itsensä antaman uhkauksen kielletyn hedelmän syömisen seurauksista väittäessään "ette suinkaan kuole" (1. Moos. 3: 4). Käärme asettui näin Jahven yläpuolelle. Käärme on siis suurempi tekijä kuin Jahve Elohim.
Ilmestyskirjassa Käärmeen/Lohikäärmeen kerrotaan antavan maasta nousevalle pedolle ”voimansa, valtaistuimensa ja suuren vallan” (Ilm. 13: 2). Myös maasta nouseva peto on tekemisissä Käärmeen/Lohikäärmeen vallan kanssa, sillä siitä sanotaan, että ”se käyttää kaikkea ensimmäisen pedon (= maasta nouseva peto) valtaa sen nähden” (Ilm. 13: 12). Molemmat Ilmestyskirjan 13. luvun pedot ovat siis samassa valta-asemassa Käärmeeseen/Lohikäärmeeseen nähden kuin Herra Jumala/Jahve Elohim, ja ne molemmat edustavat Jahven jumaluutta ihmiskunnalle.
On siis pantava merkille, että vaikka nämä uskonnollis-poliittiset vallat antavat itsestään uskonnollisen kuvan puhumalla Jumalasta, siteeraamalla Raamatun tekstejä ja korostamalla uskonnon tärkeyttä ja kansakuntien herätyksen tarvetta, ne eivät edusta Jumalaa/Elohimia, joka on yksi ainoa Jumala ja Jeshuan Isä (Joh. 17: 3; 1. Kor. 8: 6).
Erämaassa Jahve kehoitti Moosesta tekemään SARAF'in (שרף merkitsee SERAFI), mutta Mooses teki kansalle valetun käärmeen kuvan (נחש נחשת nachsh nechoshet - 4. Moos. 21. 8, 9), josta tuli Israelin palvoma epäjumala aina Hiskian päiviin saakka (2. Kun. 18: 4).
SERAFI kuvaa Luciferin kuuliaisuuden aikaa Elohimin palveluksessa, ja KÄÄRME puolestaan kuvaa langennutta Saatanaa, joka halusi korottaa itsensä Jumalaksi. Mooses siis tiesi Luciferin historian Serafista Käärmeeksi.
Mooses ymmärsi, että Käärme (langennut enkeli) oli kuolemaa aiheuttavien puremien aiheuttaja eikä Serafi (Jumalalle kuuliainen enkeli), ja muovasi sen tähden Käärmeen kuvan eikä Serafin kuvaa. Kun ymmärtämätön kansa huomasi pantuvansa katsomalla Käärmeen kuvaa, Nehustania, he alkoivat pitää sitä jumalanaan. Näin tapahtui Käärmeen ylentäminen jumalaksi Jumalan/Elohimin yläpuolelle.
Luciferin lankeaminen toi mukanaan kuoleman, mutta Jeshuan ylentäminen (ristille) merkitsi voittoa kuolemasta ja Käärmeestä jokaiselle, joka uskoo HÄNEEN, Jumalan ainokaiseen Poikaan (Joh. 3: 14- 16).
Jeshua ylennettiin ristille meidän syntiemme puolesta, mutta tuo ylentäminen ei oikeuta rinnastamaan Häntä Käärmeeseen, joka on itse kaiken synnin aiheuttaja. Golgatan keskimmäisellä ristillä uhrattiin SERAFI, täydellisen viaton ja puhdas Jumalan/Elohimin Poika.
Lucifer-Saatana ja Jeshua-Messias ovat täydelliset vastakohdat! Lucifer ylensi itsensä (Jes. 14: 13, 14). Jumalan Poika alensi itsensä ihmiseksi, enkeleitä halvemmaksi, ottaen ”orjan muodon" (Joh. 1: 14; Fil. 2: 5- 8). Lucifer-Käärme heitettiin alas taivaasta (Ilm. 12: 9), ja hänen loppunsa on ikuinen tuho (Jes. 12: 19; Hes. 28: 18). Jeshua-Serafi korotettiin Isän eli
”Majesteetin oikealle puolelle korkeuksissa” (Hepr. 1: 3, 4) ja Hän, Karitsa, joka on tullut teurastetuksi, tulee hallitsemaan Isän kanssa Uudessa Maassa aina ja iankaikkisesti (Ilm. 22: 3).
The serpent (Hebrew: נחש nachash) is an animal created by Yahweh (יהוה אלהים ), so it is said in Genesis 3:1. Nachash was cunning and wise in confusing the words of Yahweh with the words of Elohim, for the Serpent asked Eve “has God/ELOHIM really said so,” even though the Lord God/Yahweh Elohim was the one who had forbidden eating from the tree in the middle of paradise (Genesis 2:16, 17). The Serpent/Nachash refuted Yahweh's own threat about the consequences of eating the forbidden fruit by claiming "you will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). The Serpent thus placed himself above Yahweh. The Serpent is therefore a greater authority than Yahweh Elohim.
In the Book of Revelation, the Serpent/Dragon is said to give the beast rising from the earth “its power, its throne, and great authority” (Rev. 13:2). Also the beast rising from the earth is associated with the power of the Serpent/Dragon, for it is said that “it exercises all the power of the first beast (= the beast rising from the earth) before him” (Rev. 13:12). Both beasts of Revelation chapter 13 are therefore in the same position of authority in relation to the Serpent/Dragon as the Lord God/Yahweh Elohim, and they both represent the divinity of Yahweh to humanity.
It should therefore be noted that although these religious-political powers present themselves as religious by speaking of God, quoting biblical texts, and emphasizing the importance of religion and the need for the revival of the nations, they do not represent God/Elohim, who is the one and only God and the Father of Yeshua (John 17:3; 1 Cor. 8:6).
In the wilderness, Yahweh instructed Moses to make a SARAF (שרף means SERAPH), but Moses made a molten image of a serpent for the people (נחש נחשת nachsh nechoshet - Num. 21: 8, 9), which became an idol worshipped by Israel until the days of Hezekiah (2 Kings 18:4).
The SERAPH represents Lucifer's time of obedience in the service of Elohim, and the SERPENT, in turn, represents the fallen Satan, who wanted to exalt himself as God. So Moses knew the history of Lucifer from Seraphim to Serpent.
Moses understood that the Serpent (a fallen angel) was the cause of the deadly bites and not the Seraphim (an angel obedient to God), and therefore made an image of the Serpent and not of the Seraphim. When the unwise people realised that they were healed by looking at the image of the Serpent, Nehushtan, they began to regard it as their god. This was the exaltation of the Serpent as a god above God/Elohim.
Lucifer's fall brought death, but Yeshua's exaltation (on the cross) meant victory over death and the Serpent for everyone who believes in HIM, the only Son of God (John 3:14-16).
Yeshua was exalted to the cross for our sins, but that exaltation does not justify equating Him with the Serpent, who is himself the cause of all sin. On the central cross of Calvary, the SERAPH, the perfectly innocent and pure Son of God/Elohim, was sacrificed.
Lucifer-Satan and Yeshua-Messiah are complete opposites! Lucifer exalted himself (Isa. 14:13, 14). The Son of God humbled himself as a man, lower than the angels, taking the "form of a servant" (John 1:14; Phil. 2:5-8). Lucifer-Serpent was cast down from heaven (Rev. 12:9), and his end is eternal destruction (Isa. 12:19; Ezek. 28:18). Yeshua-Seraph was exalted to the right hand of the Father, or “the Majesty on high” (Heb. 1:3, 4), and He, the Lamb who was slain, will reign with the Father in the New Earth forever and ever (Rev. 22:3).
Maailma seisoo nyt Lucifer-Saatanan eli Käärmeen viimeisten suurten petosten keskellä, ja hänen vihansa kohdistuu raivokkaana Jumalan lapsiin, mutta Jeshua antoi opetuslapsilleen lupauksen riemullisesta voitosta: ”Katso, minä olen antanut teille vallan tallata käärmeitä ja skorpioneja ja kaikkea vihollisen voimaa, eikä mikään ole teitä vanhingoittava.” (Luuk. 10: 19)
The world now stands in the midst of the last great deceptions of Lucifer-Satan, or the Serpent, and his wrath is fiercely directed against the children of God, but Yeshua gave His disciples the promise of a triumphant victory: ”Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10: 19)
