Johanneksen evankeliumin ensimmäisessä luvussa esiintyy kolme mielenkiintoista sanaa, jotka kaikki viittaavat yhteen ja samaan persoonaan, Jeesukseen. Noihin sanoihin sisältyy hyvin paljon asiaa, ilmeisesti myös hyvin paljon sellaista, mikä menee rajallisen ihmisen ymmärryksen yli. Nämä sanat on kuitenkin annettu meille, että me tutkisimme niitä ja saisimme niistä siunauksia. Nuo kolme sanaa ovat: sana, elämä ja valkeus.
In the beginning of John's gospel there are three interesting words and all of them refer to the same person, Jesus. Those words contain a wealth of meanings, obviously also very much such an information that the limited man can't understand. But these words are given for us that we would examine them and get blessings of them. Those three words are: word, life and light.
1. SANA
Joh. 1: 1 hepreaksi ja sen käännös:
בראשית היה הדבר והדבר היה את האלהים ואלהים היה הדבר
Alussa oli (se) sana, ja (se) sana oli (sen) Jumalan kanssa, ja Jumala oli (se) sana.
Sana "alussa" eli hepreaksi בראשית (be-reshit) koostuu prepositiosta (-ssa, -ssä) ja nimisanasta (ensimmäinen asia/alku/lähtökohta, ensimmäinen/paras, ensihedelmä/sadon paras osa). Koska ihmisen ensihedelmää kutsutaan esikoiseksi, jotkut ovat esittäneet ajatuksen, että sana "alussa" voidaan kääntää myös sanalla "esikoisessa"... viitaten Jeesukseen.
Joh. 1: 1 arameaksi ja Tuomas Leväsen suomennos siitä:
בר ית איתוהי הוא מלתא והו מלתא איתוהי הוא לות אלהא ואלהא איתוהי הוא הו מלתא
Siellä alussa oli se sana, ja hän itse oli se sana siellä Jumalan luona, ja Jumala, hän itse oli se sana.
1. Moos. 1: 3, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24, 26 Jumalan sanasta:
"Ja Jumala sanoi..."
Ps. 33: 9 Jumalan sanasta:
"Sillä hän sanoi, ja tapahtui niin, hän käski, ja se oli tehty."
Joh. 1: 14 Jumalan sanasta:
"Ja sana tuli lihaksi ja asui meidän keskellämme, ja me katselimme hänen kirkkauttansa, senkaltaista kirkkautta, kuin ainokaisella Pojalla on Isältä: ja hän oli täynnä armoa ja totuutta."
1. WORD
John 1: 1 in Heprew ja käännös siitä:
בראשית היה הדבר והדבר היה את האלהים ואלהים היה הדבר
In the beginning there was (the) word, and (the) word was with (the) God, and God was (the) word.
The words "in the beginning" or in Hebrew בראשית (be-reshit) contains a preposition (in) and a noun (the first thing/beginning/origin, the first/the best, the first fruit/the best part of the harvest). Because the first fruit of man is called first-born, some have suggested that the words "in the beginning" could be translated also "in the first-born"... meaning Jesus.
John 1: 1 in Aramaic and Tuomas Levänen's translation:
בר ית איתוהי הוא מלתא איתוהי הוא לות אלהא ואלהא איתוהי הוא הו מלתא
There in the beginning was the word, and he himself was the word there by God, and God, he himself was the word.
Gen. 1: 3, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24, 26 about God's word:
"And God said..."
Ps. 33: 9 about God's word:
"For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast."
John 1: 14 about God's word:
"And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth."
2. ELÄMÄ
Joh. 1: 3, 4 Sanan ja elämän keskinäisestä suhteesta:
"Kaikki on saanut syntynsä hänen kauttaan (sanan kautta), ja ilman häntä (sanaa) ei ole syntynyt mitään, mikä syntynyt on. Hänessä oli elämä..."
-> Elämä oli olemassa, ennen kuin mitään muuta luotiin!
Joh. 14: 6 Jeesuksen lausunto itsestään:
"Minä olen tie, totuus ja elämä..."
1. Joh. 5: 11 iankaikkisesta elämästä
"... Jumala on antanut meille iankaikkisen elämän, ja tämä elämä on hänen Pojassansa."
2. LIFE
John 1: 3, 4
"All things were made by him (the word); and without him (the word) was not any thing made that was made. In him was life..."
-> There was life before anything else!
John 14: 6 Jesus said about he himself:
"I am the way, the truth and the life..."
1. John 5: 11 about the eternal life:
"... God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."
3. VALKEUS
1. Moos. 1: 3 ensimmäisenä päivänä Jumalan sanat kutsuivat valkeuden esiin:
"Ja Jumala sanoi: 'tulkoon valkeus'. Ja valkeus tuli."
Ensimmäisenä päivänä esiin kutsuttu VALKEUS ei tarkoita aurinkoa, kuuta eikä tähtiä, sillä ne luotiin vasta neljäntenä päivänä. Päivän mitta/pituus asetettiin "Totisen valkeuden" (Joh. 1: 9) mukaan, sillä vuorokausirytmi asetettiin sinä päivänä, jolloin "valkeus tuli".
Joh. 1: 5 valkeuden tehtävästä:
"Ja valkeus loistaa pimeydessä, ja pimeys ei sitä käsittänyt."
Ps. 36: 10 valkeuden merkityksestä:
"... Sinun valkeudessasi me näemme valkeuden"
Joh. 1: 4 sanan, elämän ja valkeuden keskinäisestä suhteesta:
"Hänessä (sanassa) oli elämä, ja elämä oli ihmisten valkeus."
Jes. 10: 17 valkeuden tehtävästä:
"Israelin valkeus on tuleva tuleksi ja hänen Pyhänsä liekiksi, joka polttaa ja kuluttaa hänen ohdakkeensa ja orjantappuransa yhtenä päivänä."
3. LIGHT
Gen. 1: 3 In the first day God called the light to come forth:
"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
The LIGHT that was made in the first day doesn't mean the sun, the moon or the stars, because they were made in the fourth day. The measure/length of a day was set according to "the true Light" (John 1: 9), for the circadian rhythm was set in that day when "there was light".
John 1: 5 about the task/mission of the light:
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."
Ps. 36: 9 about the meaning of the light:
"... in thy light shall we see light."
John 1: 4 about the connection between word, life and light:
"In him (the word) was life; and the life was the light of men."
Isa. 10: 17 about the mission of the light:
"And the light of Israel shall be for a fire and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day."
LOPPUTULEMA:
Sanassa/Elämässä/Valkeudessa on koko ihmiskunnan kohtalo. Hänen käsissään on jokaisen ihmisen syntymä, elämä ja kuolema... uudestisyntyminen, iankaikkinen elämä ja ikuinen kuolema. Jeesus on täydellinen vastaus jokaiseen kysymykseen (myös kysymykseen helvetistä ja sen kestosta).
SUMMARY:
In the Word/the Life/the Light there is the fate of the whole mankind. Everyone's birth, life and death are in his hands... as well as rebirth, everlasting life and eternal death. Jesus is a perfect answer to every question (even the question about the hell and it's duration).
